The 60 Minutes Strength & Speed Program is designed to be time efficient, effective and all encompassing. Within the 60 minute work out, your kids will get the strength training, footwork training, mental toughness and conditioning work they need to become better football players. Our players have a lot of things going on outside of football and sometimes, commitment in the off-season can become an issue. We have kids that need jobs, tutoring and many other conflicts. We have been able to convince our kids at 3 different schools to come and work really hard for 60 minutes, because they are done in time to take care of their other responsibilities. The program can be used on a 3 day or 4 day rotation depending on what is best for your kids. Originally, we were 4 days a week, but we have adapted that to fit the make up of our kids and to get a max commitment. This is a "perfect form" based program that utilizes core lifts like bench, squat, dead lift and clean, but also incorporated multiple other lifts and actions that will develop the whole player. We focus on perfect form and low weight first, so that kids can correctly lift a lot more later. As football coaches, we want strong, athletic guys who can run, hit and block. We don't just want big, huge, strong guys. We want big, huge, strong guys, who can run and be athletic.
The program incorporates time based stations in which the kids need to complete as many sets as possible at the weekly specified rotation. For example, on a 5 rep day, the kids will do as many 5 rep sets they can do during the specified time period. Sometimes this is 4 and sometimes 6 sets.
The repetitions vary by week to ensure our kids can surpass plateaus and don't get stuck.

- 10 - 8 - 6 -4 Week
- 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 Week
We test strength with a Pre-Test 1 Rep Max and then test out every 6 weeks to measure player gains. We test out in 6 areas:
- Bench
- Squat
- Clean
- Broad Jump
- Vertical
- Sit Ups
