Sometimes in life you never know when opportunities will arise that you just cannot refuse.
Back in January, I became the head football coach at Newport Central Catholic high school. You can read about it here. NCC is a perennial small school power in the state of Kentucky. With the change, I have been spending a lot of time putting systems in place in the weight room, building a staff, getting to know the players, etc. The transition has been going very well and the guys seem to be buying into what we are trying to do. I really like small school football and the opportunity to really build strong relationships with kids. I also love the challenge that comes with building small school programs.
I have not been able to spend a lot of time working on the website.I plan to begin working on the site again now and posting new materials. Continue to check back and if you have a topic you would like me to address, feel free to send me a message through the contact page.
